About RocketLearn

RocketLearn is a brand-new organisation that has been created to combine the very best high-quality resources, modern adaptive learning systems and outstanding teachers to deliver a rich, personalised and hugely engaging learning experience for children.

It is the brainchild of two creative and highly-regarded senior leaders in education, who between them have amassed over 60 years experience in the teaching profession in both the state-maintained and independent sectors. Both have a strong-track record of success wherever they have worked.

Supporting our two founders are a highly-skilled support team who are working tirelessly to deliver an exceptional educational experience for children that provides them with the very best opportunity to fulfil their potential.

David is a former Deputy Head of Juniors at Fulneck boarding school, he is also the founder of the Independent Schools Portal and editor of InnovatED magazine.

His speciality is providing practical guidance on making the curriculum, lessons and learning more engaging, creative, relevant and effective, to give teachers the confidence to step outside of their comfort zones and take calculated risks. This is especially important when using technology, it is in this capacity that David is in frequent demand as an education consultant.

David also has a deep and intimate knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum for England and his consultancy was instrumental in developing and constructing the assessment frameworks used by the Assessment Foundation for Science, Design & Technology, Computing, History, Geography, Art, Music, Physical Education and Languages. This work is used daily in over 2,000 primary and preparatory schools and forms a large element of the Progression Beyond Levels Assessment Framework for Primary Schools.
