SPaG - what exactly does it mean?

SPaG is a phrase you will often hear from teachers when talking about English for your child. Whilst you may know what it stands for (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) what does it actually mean in practice? Over the coming weeks, we are going to cover each of these areas – looking at what your child needs to know – together with a handy printout should you wish to put it on a fridge or wall to remind your children. We start this week with Vocabulary and word meanings. We hope you find it useful and remember: if you would like a little extra support for your child’s Maths and English please do have a look at RocketLearn or contact us so we can talk you through how we can help your child.
